About Composition

Saw palmetto is a type of palm native to the southeastern United States. The berries of the plant are commonly used in supplements to improve prostate health, balance hormone levels, and prevent hair loss in men. It may also prevent hair loss by reducing the uptake of DHT in the hair follicles, which decreases its ability to bind to specific hormone receptors. Saw palmetto may improve urinary symptoms associated with benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) — a condition that causes an enlargement of the prostate gland and results in decreased urine flow.

PABA has also been suggested as a treatment for scleroderma , a disease that creates fibrous tissue in the skin and internal organs. PABA is taken orally for skin conditions including vitiligo, pemphigus, dermatomyositis, morphea, lymphoblastoma cutis, and scleroderma. PABA is also used to treat infertility in women, artheitis, anemia, rheumatic fever, constipation, systemic lupus erythematosus and headache. It is alsoused to darken gray hair, prevent hair loss, make skinlook younger, and prevent sunburn

Nettle Leaf Extract has been used for urinary problems (e.g., due to benign prostatic hyperplasia-BPH). It has also been used for muscle/joint problems (e.g., arthritis), for allergies, and as a diuretic. Some herbal/diet supplement products have been found to contain possibly harmful impurities/additives. Stinging nettle offers a variety of vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, amino acids, polyphenols and pigments — many of which also act as antioxidants inside your body. Stinging nettle may help suppress inflammation, which in turn could aid inflammatory conditions, including arthritis, but more research is needed.

Lycopene is a plant nutrient with antioxidant properties. It’s the pigment that gives red and pink fruits, such as tomatoes, watermelons and pink grapefruit, their characteristic color. Lycopene has been linked to health benefits ranging from heart health to protection against sunburns and certain types of cancers.

Omega 3 fatty acids are thought to help reduce the risk of heart disease and also to promote healthy skin. They are also used along with diet and exercise to help lower levels of a certain blood fat (triglyceride) and to raise levels of "good" cholesterol (HDL). This may also be used to help treat high blood pressure or rheumatoid arthritis.

L-Cysteine: A form of cysteine called L-cysteine may help treat arthritis and hardening of the arteries. It may help treat certain lung diseases. These include bronchitis, emphysema, and tuberculosis. Cysteine influence normal growth rate of hair. Cysteine may also help reduce the effects of aging on the skin. It may help healing after surgery or burns and protect the skin from radiation injury. Cysteine may increase muscle mass and help burn fat.

Calcium Pantothenate:
  • It is form of panthothenic acid or vitamin b5
  • Breaks down fats and carbohydrates for energy
  • Plays a role in the production of sex and stress hormones in the adrenal glands and neurotransmitters
  • Vitamin B5 is needed for the production of red blood cells and cholesterol

Biotin is a water-soluble vitamin and is a part of the vitamin B family. It's also known as vitamin H. biotin to help in converting certain nutrients into energy. It also plays an important role in the health of your hair, skin, and nails.

Inositol is often referred to as vitamin B8, but it is not actually a vitamin. It’s a type of sugar that influences the insulin response and several hormones associated with mood and cognition. Inositol also has antioxidant properties that fight the damaging effects of free radicals in the brain, circulatory system, and other body tissues.

Ferrous Fumarate is the source of iron which is used to treat iron deficiency anemia (a lack of red blood cells caused by having too little iron in the body).

Zinc: It help is synthesis of more than 70 different enzymes. Zinc containing enzymes regulates metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins. Zinc fastens wound healing; maintain normal growth rates, balance skin hydration and the senses of taste and smell. It assists normal growth and tissue repair. It boosts cell mediated immunity. It is poorly absorbed when given orally. Zinc is well distributed in tissues like skeletal muscle, skin, bone, pancreas, kidney, liver, retina, prostate, RBC, and WBC. Zinc is mainly excreted through intestine and only 2% loss in the urine.

Manganese: It is essential for enzyme formation and functioning. Manganese is a trace mineral required in small amounts. It’s required for the normal functioning of neurons and many of our body’s enzyme production. Manganese is also required for bone growth, development and maintenance. When combined with other nutrients like calcium, zinc and copper, manganese supports bone mineral density essential feature for geriatric patients. Manganese is a part of the antioxidant enzyme superoxide dismutase (SOD), which is one of the most important antioxidants in the body as they protect by scavenging free radicals formed. This property of manganese helps in reducing inflammation.

Copper: It is the third most abundant essential trace mineral, and is required as cofactor for many proteins, iron utilization enhancer. Copper, along with amino and fatty acids as well as vitamins, are required for normal metabolic processes. It is well orally absorbed.
